Site worries
You may’ve noticed that my site has been a bit wonky the past few days. Last night I noticed a bunch of PHP errors in my blog but wasn’t even able to log in because everything was forbidden and write-protected. Everything should be ok now.
Luckily, this is a small site so no harm done.
I always wonder why some people feel obligated to update their blog. (I mean that they take it too seriously.) They get nervous breakdowns if they are unable to produce several full-blown articles every day or apologise from the bottom of their heart if they are busy in other areas of their life or if they are going to take a week off from their hobby! Jeez, do they really think they’re that important? Or, are there actually readers who expect too much from someone’s pastime? I would understand just a notice that “hey, it’ll be a bit quiet here for a few weeks” (although that’s an invitation to hackers or spammers) but I’ve actually seen people apologise for the inconvenience their absence may cause. 
It’s a whole different thing of course if you blog for a living. But even then, you should be able to take the normal holidays — or at least weekend(-like) breaks.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go make me some tea and something to eat. And I may not blog for a while if I can’t think of anything clever to say.
Well, being clever certainly never stopped me from writing anything or nothing
I mostly write when I feel like it which is usually once a day unless I’m really busy.
I did come yesterday (or the day before, who remembers) and tried to post a comment but your site was having none of that. So it’s good to see that you’re back up and around and feeling better.
lol, you always have something interesting with your posts :)..no worries.. lol..i always apologize (not that anyone visits anyhow lol) – which is pretty sad..but I feel bad using the space if you know what I mean – especially if I haven’t been doing what I should be doing (updating – once in awhile)..ahha, good way of putting it :P..good thing your site is fixed now..yeah..sometimes there’s like random errors its soooo weird!
I sure hope the worries are over.
I crossed-over the clever because it certainly has never stopped me, either. I have days when I can’t even squeeze out two lines (let alone a title) so I just don’t blog. I don’t know, maybe I’m too knocked out after work. (Today was yet another overtime day.) I’d love to chitchat but there’s just nothing going on to tell about. That’s why I tend to write “on topic” posts but — to me — topics don’t come around very often. Again, because of the overall boringness of my outside-work life.
