Fantastic! You got HL2! Now that loading time is something else – but perhaps the servers just busy for your first download cuz it’s that time of the year. You’ll get it going (and love it).
The first time took me 15 minutes to download and I actually got the game working but it wouldn’t start offline even though it claimed to be 100% loaded and ready for offline play. I deleted the local files (as some instructions said) and then tried to load it again. I defragged my hard drive (only took me about 8 hours…) and now I’m retrying the download. It’s been preparing for 10 minutes now and I don’t know how long it’ll claim it takes this time. Hopefully not 6800 or so minutes
