I’m so eXited!
Yippee!! Woohoo!! And whatever you can think of-oo!!
The X-Files reruns are starting from the 1st season, they’re showing 3 episodes per week, and I have a DVD player to record them with.
What am I going to do with the 30+ video cassettes I have already? Well, I don’t know how much they’ll have time to show this summer, so only a fraction of the tapes is getting useless.
*does a happy X-Phile dance that includes popping sunflower seeds (Oh! I need sunflower seeds!)*
What I always wanted from the x-files was a damned answer! Is it supernatural? Is it coincidence? Is it a psychological problem? Give me an answer! Stop making like it could be any or everything, depending on who’s doing the looking.
Yup, the stories are always (?) open-ended and the bad guys often came back. Maybe the authors wanted to give the audience an option to make up their own minds? Sometimes the audience made up their mind on the silliest of things, for example the relationship of Mulder and Scully — sheesh.
I watch tv/movies or read books just for the sake of it, for the stories. My love for them is blind in a way that I don’t question the logic (or the lack there of). I can question and argue my head off at work and school; entertainment I take as it is. At least for now.
Heh, I probably seem like a real air head… “I don’t question the plots in books and on tv”
