In all seriousness
Why is it that when I ask a question to which I want an actual answer, it’s next to impossible to know if the answer can be taken seriously? Is it a Man ThingTM to smirk while replying — always?

I don’t know if it’s a man thing (cuz I tend to do stuff like that myself. If there’s a joke to be found in it, I’ll tell it – seriously).
Smirk? Men? Naah, never.
I’ll give an example: this guy keeps a WAP site and because I now got a WAP phone I wanted to check it out. The next day he told me he knew I’d been to his site because there was a Nokia 6101 in the records (he’d re-given me the link the previous day). I asked what else shows in there (out of sincere curiosity because I don’t know anything about WAP technology) and he smirked and chuckled and listed all kinds of things (phone model, phone number…). In the end, I wasn’t sure which of that was true.
Haha.. no idea xD..
you just don’t know when they take things seriously -__-‘
i guess he wanted you to go figure since he’d already given you the link. People can be rude sometimes.. sigh. What’s so hard to just give an answer?
I of course can’t see the statistics and visitor logs of his site. I don’t take the smirking as rude, some people just like to keep their knowledge to themselves. I don’t mind it when it’s not “a life or death” situation but I’m such a person that I need to know. I can’t rest if there’s something bugging me.
