Bored
I have a short and only vacation coming and I’m already bored out of my skull after work (on weekends, too)! Today there’s nothing interesting on TV until 11:40 pm; I could watch XF episodes but I can’t concentrate on taking notes. I finally finished Prince of Persia (The Two Thrones) on Saturday and now I don’t really have any games that I feel like playing; Quake’s a bit too exhausting, Tomb Raider a bit too puzzling, Luxor just too many times finished in Expert mode and I’m afraid F.E.A.R. would freak me out which would be embarrassing. Reading makes me sleepy, there’s no one to chat with…
Oh, but I do have this morning’s episode of Gilmore Girls to watch! Now I’ll have something to do for about 50 minutes.
Maybe I should take up crocheting or something.
Boy… I was really glum that day. Now I’m better
That’s good to hear. No fun being bored.
How do you like Tomb Raider (Legends, we’re talking about?)? I’ve only played the very first and Chronicles. I enjoyed both, but if it’s same ol’, same ol’ I might just rent it. How’s the control? I remember it having a kind of Resident Evil type of clunkiness.
Actually I’m playing TR Last Revelation at the moment. (I have a list of games I’m playing and books I’m reading in the menu. In case you’re ever curious. :)) I am going to buy TB Legends some day but I’ve been waiting for it to get a little cheaper. I’ve only finished Chronicles and Angel of Darkness so far; I have difficulties seeing (or more like distinguishing) the surroundings in the first two or three games which is why I haven’t been playing them much. I was never interested in the series before I played Angel of Darkness which I liked a lot even though I hear actual TB fans don’t like it at all. It suited my game taste. I love the movies, too; Angelina Jolie was an excellent choice.
I saw it over there and I still wrote Legends. Man, I forget there’s about 10 of those games. The first was fun, but you’re right. It was the early days of 3D and it wasn’t pretty. Everything was huge squares of badly tiled textures.
I’ve only seen the first one and I disagree. Wrong nationality, wrong body type. But I have an automatic bias against well-known stars in movies that came from games or comics, etc. I liked her in Hackers, but nothing since then (although I haven’t seen many of her movies).
Hmm… I didn’t consider the speech or the body… I just like Jolie (as an actress!) for some reason. My sister, who’s a big fan of the game series, doesn’t think Jolie was a good choice, either.
I think Jolie’s good in Mr and Mrs Smith
